We are fortunate to be exhibiting until January 15th at 5 rue du Boccador, in the heart of Paris’s 8th arrondissement, between the Plaza Athénée and the George V Hotel — two establishments often frequented by the original owners of the Louis Vuitton trunks we present today. These trunks, after a life spanning one hundred, one hundred and twenty, sometimes one hundred and fifty years, are thus returning to the very neighborhood of their youth.
The space is organized into three sections: a restoration workshop, a historical area dedicated to the rarest pieces, and a sales area showcasing collectible luggage, vintage objects, and creations inspired by the art of travel.
Each day, Charly Martin, son of the founders of Bagage Collection, works directly in the workshop to restore vintage Louis Vuitton trunks destined for sale. Visitors can observe the different stages of restoration and engage with him about the craftsmanship and expertise that define the Maison.

For the holiday season, the windows are adorned with a theme of fantastic journeys, featuring a giant train created in the 1990s for Galeries Lafayette, magnificent leather elephants from the 1930s, as well as numerous antique trunks from our collection.
The space is open from Monday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and often until 10 p.m. when the workshop is active. Visitors are welcome to drop by freely or by appointment to discover the pieces, observe the restoration work, and share a moment dedicated to the history of travel.
