Automobile picnic trunk

Rare trunk "Au Touriste" Picnic of 1900 covered with a black coated canvas. This trunk was placed on the footboard of a vintage car, to allow travelers to access the interior of the car.

The luggage is arranged in two parts, with a first storage for the tools of the car, and a second for the Picnic. There are compartments for cutlery, plates and travel bowls.

The top of the trunk is reinforced to support the weight of a man. This luggage is signed by the house of Au Touriste, a great trunk maker of 1900 specialized in travel items.

The trunk is in very good condition, with some marks on the leather and the outer canvas.
